Round Table on Supply Chain Sustainability Obligations - 3rd meeting

Round Table on Supply Chain Sustainability Obligations

EiiF, together with one of its Founding Partners and Premium Members KAEFER, are organising an Online Round Table on Supply Chain Sustainability Obligations.

In recent years supply chain sustainability standards have gone from voluntary commitments to legal obligations based on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The requirements from legislators are growing further and asking for Sustainability Due Diligence of the entire supply chain, e.g. the Norwegian Transparency Act and the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) which is in the final development stage.

The demands for Transparency (reliable and comparable sustainability information), Human Rights Due Diligence and Decarbonization of our industries supply chain are developments that we all face.

In this round table we address the common challenges and discuss whether a coordination on supply chain sustainability obligations would be an option.
